Epic 38mm Deep Carbon Rim. Light & Fast.
The Epic 38mm rim is our lightest and most stable. Great for sprints, climbing and riding in high winds.
Full Carbon Clincher. High Strength Carbon for Lightweight Performance.
Using the latest carbon forming technology, we are able to build a very strong rim from carbon only. A critical area for durability, the tire bead hook of the EPIC clincher rim is up 73% stronger than other carbon clincher rims. This gives you a wheel that is very light, with positive braking performance, and reliable durability.
Extra Wide 26mm Rim Increased Aerodynamics and Improved Handling.
The extra wide rim has multiple benefits. The rim's 26mm max width improves aerodynamics by creating a more uniform airflow over the wheel, balancing the aerodynamic forces of the rim with the leading edge of the tire. The 25mm width at the tire mount and braking surface spread out out the tire, which creates a wider contact patch between the tire and the road resulting in improved handling and reduced rolling resistance. The 25mm outter rim also allows the wheel to fit into most frame and brake setups.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Airflow Simulation
The Tokyowheel Elliptic-Toroidal rim shape reduces Aerodynamic drag by matching the spoke side of the rim to the round shape of a tire. This elliptical shape makes the leading edge and the trailing edge of the rim more symmetric. Our CFD aerodynamic simulations have validated that this Elliptic-Toroidal shape provides more uniform airflow, and reduced drag over the primary Yaw angles between 0 to 20 degrees.

The 3 degree angled Aero Braking Surface improves the overall aerodynamics of the wheel by: smoothing the interface between the tire and the rim, reducing net drag on the rim in crosswinds, and adding to the elliptical symmetry of the wheel.

We don't have any payment plan options at present. Most people use credit cards to accomplish the same thing, and might even get better interest rates doing so.
We offer a 65 day test ride with 110% paid returns. So if you would like to do a test ride, you can place an order for the wheels of your choice, and try the wheels for up to 65 days. If you want to return them we’ll pay the return shipping costs, give you a full refund, and pay you an extra 10% for your time.

Wheels delivered impressively quickly over the Christmas period just in time for first race on January 12th. Had to replace quick release springs with old Shimano ones as I had with previous 3.4 s due to spring wire binding inside hub spindle. Wheels performed great with easy class win. Ceramic bearings went rough and had to get new ones sent out by customer service- delivered in less than a week to NZ !! Great service. Won class and 8th overall in 148km race. Great wheels, will see how rear wheel bearings go from now on.
